Work outside the consulting room: national guideline committees, published research, teaching, and the conferences where that work is presented. Dr. Ajit Yadav is a member of the Expert Committee for the National Guidelines on Medical Thoracoscopy, an author on the NCCP-ICS consensus guidelines, and has published 12 national and 2 international papers.

He has directed an ultrasound chest workshop at NATCON and has been chairperson and faculty at national respiratory meetings including RESPICON, NAPCON and IAB. That work matters to patients for one practical reason: the procedures offered here follow current national standards rather than local habit, and are reviewed against them.
