Patients, in their own words
Short films from the clinic — patient experiences and explainers on the conditions and treatments we see most often.
Short films from the clinic, in plain language. They cover the questions patients ask most: how to use an inhaler so the medicine actually reaches the lungs, what living with COPD day to day looks like, what a sleep study and CPAP setup involves, and what really happens on the day of a bronchoscopy.
Most breathing treatment fails for ordinary reasons rather than complicated ones — an inhaler held the wrong way, a course stopped as soon as the cough settled, a CPAP mask that was never adjusted properly, or a trigger at home that nobody looked for. Seeing the steps done once usually explains more than a page of instructions, which is why these are filmed rather than written.
They are meant as general explanation, not as advice for your own case — treatment depends on your history, your tests and your other conditions. To discuss any of it, call 8563816000 or book a consultation. If you would like a particular topic covered, say so at your next visit.
